Coaching
The Association now has qualified angling coaches who are insured and licensed by the Angling Development Board. We have adopted the ADB’s policies in relation to equity and also safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults. We have also appointed a Welfare Officer who, along with the coaches, will help to ensure that these policies are fully implemented and will deal positively with any issues arising.
Our qualified coaches work voluntarily to promote angling as a safe and enjoyable pastime for everyone, and the Association is keen to use the opportunity which coaching provides in order to build closer links with the community of which we are a part.
