Details
This small water (about 1/2 and acre)
deceivingly has some large Carp beneath its surface.
It used to be good for smaller fish as well, but recently the cormorants
have taken their toll. The reason is the clarity of the water,
which makes it a difficult fishery.
Specific Rules

Fishing is permitted from the
T & M Canal Towpath and the One Peg at the North Western End of the Pool
(Billinge Green Side) Only.

Night Fishing is not
permitted on this water

Keepnets are not allowed
between March 15th and June 15th

There is no close season on
the Canal Pit
