  • The Otter park conclusion statement is below

Joint statement on the Weaver ‘otter park’ from the Cheshire West and Chester Council, the Environment Agency, Northwich Anglers Association and Winsford & District Angling Association.

Meeting clears the air on Weaver otter concerns.

A meeting has taken place between interested parties to clear the air over concerns raised by anglers about a proposed ‘otter park’ in the River Weaver valley.

The Environment Agency responded to concerns raised by members of fishing clubs in the area, who feared that otters could pose a threat to specimen fish stocks.

The meeting was held on 17th November at the Environment Agency’s office in Birchwood. Attending were representatives from the two main angling clubs affected; Northwich Anglers Association and Winsford & District Angling Association, together with officers from the Environment Agency and Cheshire West and Chester Council.

The concept of an ‘otter park’ was first publicised in the Weaver Valley Park Development Plan. This plan outlines a vision for the whole of the River Weaver valley and includes proposals which would improve the quality of life for its population and to increase the prosperity of the area. There was very little information included in the plan documents as to the nature of the ‘otter park’. Local anglers had speculated what the proposals might include, and there was a widespread belief apparent on internet forums that otters might be introduced or encouraged to populate the area through artificial means.

Steve Clarke from Cheshire West and Chester Council assured the group that there were no plans to introduce otters. He explained how the proposals had been conceived, and that the ideas were based around improving the habitat adjacent to the river in areas where the habitat is currently poor. The development plan had used the otter as an iconic species, symbolic of the recovery of the area from the industrial past. The plan was not centred around increasing the number of otters, rather improving habitats which would benefit much wider range of species and would also benefit fish populations.

All the parties agreed that the developments proposed were beneficial for the river as a whole and that the development plan should have been more clear with regards to the description of the proposals.

Anglers are rightly concerned about threats to the highly valuable specimen fish stocks of the River Weaver and associated still waters in the river valley. The Environment Agency confirmed that they had been consulted throughout the process and fisheries experts had contributed to the proposals to ensure that the interests of local fisheries were protected

July August September & October 2009

  • Due to time constraints this section of the website has struggled to be updated, hopefully we will try to get this back onto a more regular basis but in the meantime if you can help the club out in this area please send an email here.

  • Some good fishing has been had lately around our waters namely:- A Stonking 4lb 4oz Perch from the T&M, 34lb Carp from the Canal Pit, A 40lb plus Carp has been out of Budworth, Bully has been out of Big Billinge @ 32lb 6oz, 27lb Carp from Eyres pit, so all in all some memorable a noteworthy captures, keep them coming!!

  • Mark's bailiff report section has been updated with 2 new reports (July & Sept) including an Otter petition update see here

  • The weed is a known problem at Dane Valley and the committee is tackling this problem although the fishing remains good.

  • An earlier match report from Summer see attached

  • There has been some good gallery updates from the recent past including The T&M Canal, Canal Pit, Eyres Pit & The Weaver

June 2009

  • The Otter petition is going very well. Thank you for all your support and continue to spread the word. We will keep you up to date with any developments.

  • Photo additions to Big Billinge and Eyres Pit thanks for these.

  • The culvert at vale royal drive near to the pool had been blocked causing a large amount of water to be backed up on the other side of the drive. We sent a company to clear this and it seems to have done the trick for now but if you notice any water backing up please inform the club as it could lead to problems on the drive itself or into the pool.

  • The Weaver match reports are back in action on the Forum

  • NW Carp Supplies in Sandiway are holding a book signing event on the 29th August with Steve Briggs in attendance. Don't forget members qualify for 10% discount.

May 2009

  • Sorry for a belated May update but we have been a tad busy.

  • There has been much debate within the club regarding the recent proposal by the Weaver Valley Management Board stating to turn part of the Weaver between Winsford and Northwich into an Otter Park! Needless to say this proposal causes great concern to the club and will also have an impact on stillwaters around the whole area. Mark Leathwood is heading up our petition and therefore his bailiff page is taken up by this. We aim to take this to the national angling press and also consult with the Angling trust. Please inform other anglers and neighbouring clubs as this poses a potential real threat. See here or go straight to the petition

  • On a lighter note we have had some good catches from Billinge Green:- Little Billinge is fishing well for Crucians and Tench. Big Billinge has seen Bully out @ 33lb also Lumpy over 30lb for the first time and Cricket Bat at 26lb!

  • Photo update for Vale Royal Pool in the form of a 7lb  Bream for Ash Walton.

  • Dane Valley Fishery has had some good fishing reports but unfortunately now the weather has warmed up we have had problems with youths swimming. If this happens please do not confront them instead call the local police and the club. In order to ensure that the police take this seriously and respond in a timely fashion, we would suggest phrasing your complaint along the following lines:

    i) The water is deep and there are obstructions under the surface, therefore there is a real RISK OF LOSS OF LIFE DUE TO DROWNING.

ii) There are anglers present, trying to fish lawfully, and the behaviour of these swimmers is LIABLE TO CAUSE A BREACH OF THE PEACE

  • the match reports will start again in June on the forum if you are not a member of the forum please join and exchange views.

April 2009

  • At the recent committee meeting it was decided that a new rule banning the use of some rigs should be introduced namely:-

    • The use of both leadcore and fused leaders is banned on all Association waters.
  •  The new rule comes into force immediately and notices are being put up at the waters. The debate that ensued has been too lengthy to edit it so we have just condensed this onto the dedicated rig page, Thank you all for your input. The vast majority of members supported a ban but also the views of the minority were also taken into account and unfortunately for them the ban has been introduced. We as a club don't want to keep adding bans as they become a burden to everyone (anglers and bailiffs) but on this occasion fish welfare had to take precedent. In the future through education it may be possible to lift it, this will be monitored.

  • Please make sure all your rigs allow the hooklink to be EASILY freed from any lead weight should your mainline be snapped above the lead.

March 2009

  • March has been a busy month at the club with all the membership renewals which require a great effort to all involved. All members from last year should have had there renewal. if not please contact the club here

  • Mark's head bailiff report on licenses can be viewed here

  • Pool 3 at Dane Valley continues to be fished with the odd match and results are somewhat patchy with the odd decent bag and a few poor bags, which indicate that the fish have not spread out as yet.

  • We have been advised that the River Weaver will be affected by the 'Head Of River' boat racing on the 14th November 2009. Please be aware that whilst fishing is possible there will be major disruption and you are probably best avoiding the race stretches...You have been warned!

  • We have added the Angling Trust web link and ask members to visit their site and think about joining this much more powerful angling body.

  • Fishing reports are patchy but some reports coming in from Vale Royal Pool producing well on some days, the odd decent Carp from the Canal Pit. If you have any reports you wish to share please make the effort and post them in. alternatively you can join and take part in our forum which is always first first for news and gossip.

  • A few more gallery updates: A fantastic Perch brace from the Weaver, Danny Brown continues to catch from various places see his additions Canal Pit, Little Billinge and Vale Royal Pool. Also a nice Dane Barbel from Bob. Cheers for these...keep them coming.

February 2009

  • The website has been updated with all the new joining forms, match listrules and Dane Valley Fishery Rules

  • New head bailiff report Improvements to fish welfare

  • As part of our support for local shops we have 2 offers from local tackle shops and will be trying to work closer with shops in the near future. To start with though we have a good deal for our members at Tacklesaver in Handforth and Northwest Carp Supplies in Sandiway make the most of theses offers by calling in and show your membership card.

  • Dane Valley Fishery pool 3 held a match to ascertain catch totals. In difficult condition the weights were pretty poor but some good Roach and Skimmers were caught. Pleasure bags of up to 100 fish have been caught. Please be aware that the banks on this pool are really muddy

  • A notable gallery update for the Canal Pit and one for Eyres

January 2009

  • As you may be aware the AGM was the busiest it has been for sometime. There were a number of notices of motion and as broken on here there are a couple of noteworthy notices passed:-

    • As from the 22nd January 2009 NAA members can fish with live baits. These live baits HAVE to be caught at the venue and only 6 used per session.

    • As from the 22nd January 2009 NAA Juniors/intermediates can night fish with a parent/guardian on Big Billinge and Eyre's Pit.

    • A full list of all the new rules and information will be included in the February review at the end of the month.

  • A link on the front page has been added for Polish anglers as we have had requests from some about joining.

  • Renewals, newsletter and work party notices will be on here in the Febraury update, but always check the forum for up to date information.

  • Gallery updates for the The Dane, WeaverVale Royal Pool & Budworth

  • Cormorants have been plaguing Dane Valley Fishery but thankfully the ice over the past month has seen them disappear, we are monitoring the situation closely.

  • Please note that the recently closed Floatel in Northwich is private land and any angler fishing from it, is in danger of prosecution for trespass.

  • Not much to report in the way of catch reports other than the Weaver and Dane. Both are very patchy due to the prolonged cold spell. The Town Centre on the Weaver seems to be the only place where a fish can be caught!! If you have any reports, news or photos keep them coming... Thanks.

December 2008

  • May I take this opportunity to wish you all a very merry Christmas, and if you manage to venture out over the festive period i hope you bag a few! A couple of places to try:-

    • For Pike try the Weaver it is fishing well at the moment

    • Good feeder hauls of skimmers and Roach can be taken in the town centre

    • Some bumper Perch in the T&M and Vale Royal Pool

    • For Carp try a zig on Big Billinge or bottom fish the far margin on the Boats section of the Weaver.

  • The club house will be closed for Christmas and New Year on the 26th December and 2nd January 2009.

  • The AGM looks set to be a very well attended affair as there are a number of 'Notices of Motion' It is here for all to see.

  • Little Billinge produced its largest catch recently. This was a short lived resident in the form of a Vauxhall Corsa, luckily the driver managed to get out unscathed and there appears to be no lasting effects other than a mangled fence. Anglers wishing to step their gear up and target these specimens will be disappointed to know that there is no more to be stocked...hopefully!!!

  • Dane Valley fishery has got its first catch report photo here

  • The Weaver has produced another cracking Pike here

  • Marks report can be viewed here

  • Also British Waterway have sprung their work upon us. We had been informed in July of this but it was cancelled until further notice. It has now started!, please see the August review for details on closures. Also visit the forum where there are updates from Mark/ Bailiffs & members.

November 2008

  • November was a really busy month especially down on pool 3 of Dane Valley fishery. Much work has been carried by a lot of people on a voluntary basis so a big thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. There is still plenty of work to be done there but here are the main news worthy items to date:-

    • Pool 3 is now fishable. Please be aware though that it is very muddy in places.

    • 40 Pegs now installed

    • Fish stocked to date include:-

      • 300lb mixed bag of Roach (some decent 1lb+), Rudd, Perch & Gudgeon

      • 300 Tench up to 10"

      • 500 Crucians up to 8"

      • 500 Chub up to 8"

      • 200 Barbel up to 8"

      • 500 Bream up to 12"

      • 400lb mixed bag of Bream, Roach & Perch

    • Bird Scarer installed on the island, to combat the Cormorants

    • Initial planting carried out

    • An update to the gallery here

  • Pool 1 has had a substantial amount of Canadian pond weed removed and this and pool 2 have been topped up as their levels had dropped in Summer.

  • Work is about to commence at Vale Royal Locks. It will commence on the 5th January 2009 and run until 15th October 2009. The area of work MAY include extending the temporary mooring to the point of the Island. Further update will be given as to our access rights.

  • The Dockhole section of the Weaver has been sold to a private buyer, so this section is no longer available for fishing by club members.

  • We have recently received disturbing news that a dog walking along the Weaver got a large barbed carp hook lodged in her tongue. This resulted in a very stressful operation at the vets and a £100+ bill. Also to add to this we have had reports of a Spanial swallowing a Pike bait with two trebles embedded in it, which almost resulted in the death of the dog. There is NO EXCUSE for leaving any tackle or rubbish on any water at anytime. Repeating an old theme but any members found to have broken this rule will banned from the club. Please take note of this story and think to look for small tackle items when leaving a swim.

  • Gallery updates for the Weaver and Rookery

  • Updated Mark's Head Bailiff report here

October 2008 (Updated)

  • There is an published match on the 14th October 2008 on the Weaver. This was arranged late and as such mist the listings. It is for Mid-Cheshire and is pegged form the locks at peg 262 down to the end of the Oaktree at 470. There will be notices on all car parks. Please inform other anglers.

  • Bailiff Update and picture of Mark.

  • Gallery update for the Weaver

  • Dane Valley Fishery pool 3 is well underway now and water will pumped in by the end of the Month.

September 2008 (Updated)

  • The head bailiff has introduced a monthly news page on this site that contains information relating to all bailiff and water issues. There will also be a new incident reporting system on here that will allow any person, member or not to raise issues relating to our waters.

  • Petty Pool pictures have been update and a few added into the gallery

  • Dane Valley Fishery is now well under way the liner is nearly complete and work will begin soon filling, leveling pegging and planting. The fish are expected to arrive for mid November with an anticipated opening in Spring 2009. This pool is far bigger than the previous 2 at about 2.5 acres and will complete what will be a great fishery for all NAA members.

  • The reported closure of the Weaver will now NOT go ahead as planned due to a change in plans by the authority, therefore all sections will be as normal.

  • The club has now increased dramatically its bailiff activities, this is mainly due to our new head bailiff and his ever growing team of able volunteers, by visiting all venues on a regular basis. Night visits have also been increased and the police have been actively involved in assisting us. Please bear in mind that we don't have many problems on our waters and with this new team we anticipate far less, which will better angling for our members.

  • A new early morning draw system has been introduced on Petty Pool for members starting fishing at 5:00am, with immediate effect please see here this will be monitored and if proved successful will be made permanent.

  • Please keep in mind the catch report publicity ban on Petty pool as anglers will lose their licenses.

August 2008

  • The club has appointed a new head bailiff:- Mark Leathwood. Mark has already contributed a lot of effort over the past few months and he can now use his wealth of experience to bring about much needed changes to the bailiff procedure. We have also a substantially increased the number of bailiffs, Thanks to all the new recruits.
  • A section of the Weaver towpath will be shut for a large period of time from the 6th October 2008 until the 5th January 2009 (Maximum 12 weeks). The section is from Monarch drive to the Blue Bridge (Willow beds) this is to allow footpath works to be carried out. No member of the public will be allowed access.
  • Dane Valley Fishery pool 3 is about to get underway. This pool will be huge and hopefully ready for fishing early next year.
  • Photo update from the successful Junior festival and Little Billinge and Big Billinge

  • 2 new matches have been added these are :-
    • Drennan Super League Sunday the 17th August 2008 Blackboards, Boats and Willow beds (1 - 100)
    • Drennan Super League Sunday the 23 November 2008 Blackboards, Boats and Willow beds (1 - 100)
    • The  match list has been updated
  • Petty Pool has had an immediate publicity ban imposed upon it. Any angler wishing to publicise catches must do so by informing the committee in writing. Any material which in the public domain in the form of Forum pictures, blogs websites etc should be removed. Any member found to be publicising material from Petty pool will be banned. Petty pool has been under close scrutiny lately with some bad angling tactics and illegal out of bounds fishing. The club had dealt with these matters and it is hoped that Petty returns to its normal ways, however the committee will be reviewing the Pool more thoroughly over the coming months.
  • This month has seen some unsavory incidents with youths on the Weaver, this has been in the form of abusive language and anti-social behavior. Fortunately as anglers we do not come across these incident often. The Weaver does a have a watch scheme here. It is advised that you print this out or take a note of the numbers.
  • Fishing:- Dane Valley Fishery has been producing good bags of fish to 30lb, Vale Royal Pool is producing many small Tench along with the odd ''big un', Little Billinge is also producing dome good bags with Crucians featuring regularly. The Weaver has got off to a slow start but results are expected to improve as the season usually starts off slowly.
  • Gallery update to Little Billinge

June 2008

  • Dane Valley Fishery was officially opened on the 30th June, this was reported in the press and photos will be placed here soon. The waters have been fished regularly with good bags up to 30lb per session. At the moment we are still formulating the rules which will not be too onerous. Please for now though refrain from using keepnets.
  • The Weaver matches have got underway with plenty of Bream showing in the more coloured water.
  • Also another photo update for Little Billinge from Louis Hunt and Big Billinge from Jim Burrows.

May 2008 (Update)

  • Dane Valley Fishery will be opening to all members on the 1st of June. Rules to be posted on here soon.

May 2008

  • We apologies for the web site administration being down for the last 3 Months. This was due to a computer change and software availability, but we are up and running again so keep your information and photos coming in.
  • Canal Wides:- The far bank fishing rights have been sold by the club. This was not a light decision but one that benefited club more by selling than keeping. We do NOT have a policy of removing waters from our portfolio and it was thought that in this instance we would make an exception. The trade off was that we can still fish the wides from the towpath and from our own findings the far side was very rarely used. On the positive side, the club will have the finances in place to finish the big pool at Dane Valley Fishery.
  • The match list has been updated for 2008-2009
  • Please note that Petty Pool will be closed to all non working party members until 3rd June 2008 (opening @ 9:00 on the 3rd)
  • We are recruiting new Bailiffs all the time and a few new people are joining soon. If you want to become a bailiff please contact the club.
  • The working parties have proved very fruitful again this year and a big thank you to all who turned up (No doubt reaping the rewards of Petty and billinge for a month). Much work was achieved at Billinge, Rookery, Petty and others.
  • Work on Dane Valley Fishery has slowed due to much needed bridge repairs that are required after the flood. New photos will be published soon.
  • A Rowing event on the Weaver this year that may cause angling disruption is:- Saturday 8th November 2008, Northwich Autumn Head of the River Race. (Same as the Spring Head , but ending a little earlier at 4.30pm).
  • Gallery updates (Thank you) :- Big Billinge , Little Billinge

  • Gallery updates for the Weaver

September 2007

  • As anticipated the work has started on Vale Royal Lock repairs on the Weaver. This will disrupt our angling on Hulses Island and the old river for quite some time. The length of anticipated works is forecast to be 12 months, but we will update you in March if we have any further information. We do not believe that our restrictions should apply for the whole duration. The association has been, and will be further reimbursed by this work and we should get more bank space on the Dredger after the works has been completed. The following restrcition are in force until further notice

    • The end car park (leading to Hulses Island) is closed (see works sketch here)

    • All of Hulses Island including the old river is closed

    • Carp parking is allowed at the viaduct car park and fishing is allowed on the main river here, and for access to Vale Royal Pool.

July 2007

  • Updated the Shipbrook lakes page and new photos.

  • The EA report has come back from Little Oaks. To conclude their findings the fish that died (160 Roach and Bream) had a number of bacterial complaints chiefly whitespot. It is though that the fish became stressed in the warmer weather which was excaserbated due to the heavy stocking program. There were no viral problems at all and all the indications now are that the fish are well. Please note that there is still a keepnet ban on this water.

  • Gallery updates for the Weaver, Big Billinge, Trent & Mersey and Budworth. Once again thanks for these.

  • The re-stocking has finished now until later in the year when we will introduce more Tench into Eyres Pit and Vale Royal Pool.

  • It has come to our attention members night fishing on numerous waters not designated as such. This has led to an increase in night patrols, be aware if you are engaging in breaking these rules you will be caught and punished.

  • Some more photos, this time from Canal Pit Thank You.

  •  Don't forget the work parties starting soon.

February 2007

  • A pretty quiet month in February. The fish stocking continued with Eyres receiving about 500lb of mixed Skimmers, Hybrids, Rudd and Roach and some Perch. Little Oaks received 100 Chub and 30kg of Bream between 8-10oz. There are still some fish left to be stocked but we might have missed the opportunity due to the time of year. more news to follow next Month.

  • Cheshire got its' fair brunt of the weather in February with a good few trees felled. Some good work was done to remove these from Petty Pool and work will be carried out in March to clear Little Billinge.

    • Vale Royal Pool:- 400 Crucians 3"-5", (Chub & Tench still to come)

    • Eyres Pit:- 750 Crucian 3"- 5", (8"-10" Bream, Tench, Rudd, Roach & Hybrids still to come)

  • Please note that fish shelters have been placed in Eyres Pit, Vale royal Pool and Little Oaks. They marked on the water by plastic bottles. 4 shelters have been installed at Big Billinge these are marked by red markers. Please do NOT fish up to these as they are larger under the water than the Red markers would suggest. We aim to put a natural islands on top to mark these.

  • More photos have been added for Big Billinge, Eyres Pit, Little Oaks, Dane and Vale Royal Pool.

December 2006

  • The planned Re-Stocking didn't take place which was a real disappointment. The plan was to install a pump at Vale Royal Pool and for a day and half pump the water out to lower the level for netting (the first task was to net out any grass carp and move them to Eyres Pit). Due to the bad weather softening the ground the pump was too heavy and as such kept sinking into the mud! After manually shifting 3 tons of hardcore the pump was finally in place. This put the plan back a day and as the stocking company were booked out the following days they could only carry out the netting. The re-stocking will happen shortly though and details will be posted again.

  • The 2006 AGM minutes have been put onto the site along with This year's agenda. See you there

  • The HQ will be closed on the 22nd and the 29th of December. It will re-open on the 5th January 2007

  • We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our members a very merry Christmas and a great new year, All the best!

  • Gallery Update for Little Billinge and Big Billinge

October 2006

  • Petty continues to produce big carp. This time its the big male @ 41.6lb. Some of the carp in here have a fantastic growth rate and it won't be long before this record is surpassed!

  • Eyres Pit has had the first fish shelter installed with others planned. These will be in place to accommodate the re-stocking in December.

  • Generally this year most members have been exemplary, but as always we have had a couple of incidents this month. One a litter problem and one an abuse problem. If you witness any other member breaking rules or behaving in a manner as to bring the club into disrepute then please call the club telephone number: - 01606 786787. Remember these are your waters as well.

  • A couple more photos have been added to the Billinge Gallery as always please forward on you want to be included (Not necessarily of fish)

September 2006

  • Not much club information to note this month, but there has been some interesting captures in our waters:-

  • Petty Pool has produced another corking Mirror of 40.4lb that means there are two separate carp that have broke this barrier. Also numerous carp over 20lb have been coming from Eyres Pit. The Dane and both Billinge pools continue to fish very well.

  • A couple more photos for both Billinge pools have been added

August 2006

  • Please note the Club Headquarters will be closed on Friday 15th September 2006. No administration will take place. Please forward this information to persons who do not have access to this website.

  • It has come to our attention that Night lines have been set at a number of waters around our region. These barbaric traps are for the sole purpose of catching fish for the table. We ask all our members to remain vigilant on all waters and to report anything suspicious.

  • Some more photos have been added to the gallery (Billinge, Budworth,Weaver and Junior Festival). Thank you for these.

  • As promised we are investing heavily in a restocking program for some of our waters. We have now agreed that over £10,000.00 will be spent in rejuvenating Eyres Pit and updating the stocks in Little Oaks and Vale Royal Pool. The latter being stocked with 'Winter' fish such as Chub. This is a huge undertaking and highlights our commitment to continually improve the club waters. Details of what and when will be published here in the next couple of months.

  • As mentioned in previous postings we still require committee members. If you fancy getting involved and having a big say in our club please get in contact.

June Update 2006

  • URGENT NEWS: -

Due to retirement and relocation NAA has a number of vacancies to fill: -
    Hon. Treasurer.
After 12 years at this post Hugh Arathoon is stepping down. This position requires a person who preferably has a financial background or an understanding of accounting. The role isn’t too demanding and does carry an honoraria (remuneration)
    Assistant Secretary.
Richard Terrace is relocating away from the area and as such is forced to give up this challenging position. The post is varied and includes tasks such as: - Member admin, correspondence and headquarters presence. It would be useful if anybody who is interested in this post is PC literate and has some experience with dealing with the print and media. Again this position carries honoraria.
    Head Maintenance Officer.
This post requires managing the maintenance and upkeep of all our waters.
Please Contact us on 01606 786787
  • Eyres pit is to receive a visit from the EA next week to aid in a fish protection exercise. This will be by way of weed planting and fish shelters. It is hoped that after a recent netting campaign where almost no fish other than Carp were found we can restock this water in the Autumn.

  • Vale Royal Pool & Little Billinge will be netted again in Autumn. This will be to thin stocks of small silver fish which will be used to re-stock Eyres Pit.

June 2006

  • Little Oaks has received a stock of around 250 Roach up to a pound but mainly around the 4oz mark. This fishery will be made clearer and more fishable over the next couple of months. It will also receive further stocks towards the end of the year. This pond can be reached by parking in the blue bridge car park. Walk towards the Oak tree length and through the style. The fishery is just on your left through a gate. See here

  • Cormorant ravaged Eyres Pit is going to undergo a weed planting exercise so as to aid protection of fish once they are stocked. The idea is to turn this fishery into a premier mixed fishery. Carp are still the predominant species in this pool although the number have been thinned dramatically to allow other stock to flourish. This fishery has recently benefited from many work parties.

  • Little Billinge has undergone an evaluation netting and the signs were very very encouraging with good numbers of small Tench and Crucians that are now breeding again.

  • Petty and Big Billinge have been fishing well for Carp to the lads that did the work parties. Please note Petty will be available to all on June 1st and Big Billinge will be available to all on June the 16th.
